March 2018 – The Kandalama Hotel is Geoffrey Bawa masterpiece built between 1992-95. Bawa was renowned for his tropical modern style, blending inside with outside. The Kandalama Hotel is set in the jungle on a rocky outcrop overlooking the Kandalama Reservoir. The rocks become features within the interiors and the jungle has covered the exterior with flora and fauna.
